Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre arrives in Lasanod, the capital of the Northeastern State

The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Hamza Abdi Barre, has arrived in the city of Lasanod, the capital of the Northeastern State, where he was warmly received at the airport by officials from the Federal Government, the President of the Northeastern State, Abdiqadir Ahmed Aw-Ali (Firdhiye), and various segments of the community.

The Prime Minister is in Lasanod on an official working visit and will attend the inauguration ceremony of the President and Vice President of the Northeastern State of Somalia, which will be held in the capital, Lasanod.

During his stay, Prime Minister Hamza will hold consultations on Somalia’s state-building process and the strengthening of national unity with leaders, intellectuals, and different sections of society from the Northeastern regions.
