Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, Salah Ahmed Jama, Chaired the Humanitarian Forum and Emphasized Accelerating Drought Prevention Efforts.

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia, H.E. Salah Ahmed Jama, chaired the Somalia Humanitarian Forum, which was organized by the National Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA). During the meeting, a report on the drought conditions affecting the country was presented, with senior officials from United Nations humanitarian agencies in attendance.

H.E. Salah Ahmed Jama noted that the DanQaran Government has invested significant time and effort in addressing drought impacts, achieving notable progress in several areas. The Deputy Prime Minister further emphasized that the government will intensify efforts to prevent recurring droughts, highlighting that ongoing plans are already underway to tackle the challenge.
