Deputy Prime Minister of Somalia Oversees Handover Ceremony at the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism

The Deputy Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, H.E. Salah Ahmed Jama, today presided over the official handover ceremony between the newly appointed Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, H.E. Abdifitah Qasim Mahmoud, and the outgoing Minister, H.E. Daud Aweis Jama.

During the ceremony, the Deputy Prime Minister urged the new Minister to uphold professionalism, transparency, and accountability in carrying out his responsibilities. He also prayed for Allah to grant him success and ease in fulfilling the duties entrusted to him.

H.E. Salah Ahmed Jama commended the outgoing Minister, H.E. Daud Aweis Jama, for the valuable contributions and dedicated service he rendered during his tenure at the Ministry.

The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism is among the key institutions supporting the work of the Government. He further expressed his appreciation to all Ministry staff for their significant role and commitment in advancing national service and government priorities.
