Hamza Abdi Barre has strongly denounced the vicious assault carried out by Kharijites at Lido Beach last night. Describing the attack as a barbaric atrocity fundamentally contradictory to the cherished values of our religion and culture upheld by the Somali people. Prime Minister Barre unequivocally emphasised the heinous nature of the assault, spotlighting the Kharijites’ malevolent intentions to eradicate and shed the blood of our innocent people. He underscored that such acts of violence represent a direct threat to the very fabric of our nation and must be met with resolute denouncement and decisive measures. Prime Minister Barre urged the unified support of our people with the victims and ongoing emergency operations in the aftermath of this tragic incident.
